NAB files new toshakhana reference against Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a new Toshakhana reference against founder PTI and Bushra Bibi.

On behalf of NAB, reference investigation officer Mohsin Haroon and case officer Waqar Al Hasan filed the reference in the accountability court, which consists of two volumes.

According to sources, the new toshakhana reference filed by NAB will be reviewed by the Registrar Accountability Court and after removing the objections the reference will be sent to the Administrative Judge of the Accountability Court. Later, the Administrative Judge will decide whether to transfer the reference to himself or to another accountability court.

Administrative Judge Nasir Javed Rana is already hearing the £190 million reference.

NAB interrogated Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in Adiala Jail and both were arrested on July 13 while they remained in NAB custody for 37 days for investigation.

Questionnaire was also provided to Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi by NAB and both the accused submitted the answers after which on August 19 after the completion of the investigation, the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi were judicialized.
