Nadeem Sarwar to receive honorary doctorate, ‘Tamgha-e-Imtiaz’

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori on Friday announced the conferment of an honorary doctorate on world-renowned Naat Khuwan, Noha Khuwan Syed Nadeem Raza Sarwar during a luncheon hosted in his honor at the Governor’s House Karachi today.

The luncheon was attended by General Secretary JDC Zafar Abbas, Syed Nadeem Raza Sarwar’s son Ali, and Ali Shanawar.

Syed Nadeem Raza Sarwar praised the Governor’s ration program and free IT program, and was presented with a shield and Sindhi cultural ajrak and topi by the governor.

During the meeting, Governor Kamran Tessori announced the conferment of an honorary doctorate  on Syed Nadeem Raza Sarwar in recognition of his services. He will also request president to award Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for Nadeem Sarwar,

A tree was also planted at the Governor’s House by Syed Nadeem Raza.

During his visit to the IT Institute, the famous Nuha Khuwan distributed 16 laptops to students on his own behalf.

It should be noted here that Tamgha-e-Imtiaz is a state-organised honour of Pakistan. It is given to any civilian in Pakistan based on their achievements.
