Nawaz Sharif to unveil “economic recovery plan” on Oct 21 says Hamza Shehbaz

In an address at Mustafabad, PML-N Vice President Hamza Shehbaz said Pakistan will “restart its journey towards progress and prosperity” with the return of the PML-N supreme leader later this week.

“In his address at Minar-i-Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif will give a road map to pull the country out of the economic mess,” Hamza Shehbaz said at a convention hosted by PML-N leader Malik Ahmed Khan.

Hamza Shehbaz, the son of former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif, said while the politics of the PML-N revolved around development, jailed former prime minister Khan-led PTI indulged in politics of hate.

PPP questions Nawaz Sharif “red carpet reception”

PPP leader Khursheed Shah lambasted former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif for what he said striking a deal with powerful quarters to return to power through a backdoor.

Despite facing a lot of difficulties, the PPP leader said the PML-N was still doing “backdoor politics”. Shah further said that he told the PML-N chief that he was committing a mistake once again by attempting to return to power “by climbing on someone else’s shoulder”.

Bail petition for Nawaz Sharif to be submitted soon

The bail petition for Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be filed by the legal team within 48 hours.The initial draft of the petition has been prepared by lawyers.

Nawaz Sharif was convicted by accountability courts in Avenfield and Al-Azizia references therefore his protective bail petition will be filed in these cases.

The Accountability court had awarded 10 years jail term with eight million Pounds fine to Nawaz Sharif in Avenfield case and 07 years sentence in Al-Azizia reference.The court had also disqualified Nawaz Sharif for holding public office for 10 years.

PML N allowed for Minar-e-Pakistan Jalsa on Oct 21 while PTI awaits

The Lahore district administration granted permission to the PML-N for its “politically all-important” public gathering at Minar-i-Pakistan subject to some 39 conditions, including ensuring all requisite precautionary measures in and around the venue for the safety of participants and the general public.

On the other hand, there has been no decision regarding a request by the PTI for a public rally in the provincial capital.The PTI had also changed the date of its proposed public meeting from Oct 15 to 19.

The crackdown on the party, meanwhile, continued. The authorities are not even sparing those protesting to express solidarity with the Palestinians — while carrying a PTI flag.
