NCOC decides registration of 40 plus age citizens for Covid vaccination.

The National Command and Operation Center has made this decision in this regard.

It made this decision in Islamabad during a meeting Monday.

Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar presided.

Specially, it would open up registration of forty plus age citizens for Covid-19 vaccination from tomorrow.

Later, a posted a tweet regarding that decision.

He said NCOC also decided to allow walk-in vaccination of all registered citizens of above fifty age.

Moreover, he said the citizens who are forty years or older can register and encourage others to register.

Govt seeks Army’s assistance

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed released a video message on Sunday.

He said that the government has assigned Pakistan Army responsibility to assist the civil administration.

It notified it to implement the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to prevent spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

He further said that the government has issued a notification to this effect at a critical time.

Under that, Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad Capital Territory, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir can sought services of military troops as per their needs for implementation of SOPs.

Furthermore, he said the government made this decision in the wake of increasing Covid cases in the country.

Meanwhile, PIA planes brought 1 million doses of COVID 19 vaccine from China.

Three planes of Pakistan International Airlines carried a consignment of one million doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
