Neymar rescues Dani Alves in sexual assault case

Neymar has turned out to be the guardian angel of Dani Alves as the star striker rescued his troubled friend in the sexual assault case.

The Catalonia’s top found the former Barcelona defender was found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman and sentenced the 40-year-old to four and a half years in prison.

The incident occurred in a Barcelona nightclub in 2022 and the Brazilian has also been ordered to pay 150,000 Euros to the victim.

However, with his assents frozen following his divorce from ex-wife Dinorah Santana, who is also suing him for non-payment of alimony, the former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) man called for help.

And with no surprise, Neymar jumped in, according to Brazil’s UOL, and transferred 150,000 Euros to the courts on August 9, as payment for ‘mitigating compensation for damage cause’.

The duo had played for Barcelona, PSG, and Brazil during their career.

Dani Alves received financial backing from Neymar, which helped him with defense of his sexual assault case.

Moreover, this financial aid also cut Alves’ punishment massively.
