No evidence Bushra Bibi poisoned: Personal physician

Dr. Asim Yusuf, the personal physician of PTI founder Imran Khan and his spouse, has said that poisoning of Bushra Bibi has not been confirmed.

Dr. Yusuf further said that he met Bushra Bibi and examined her, but there is no evidence that she has been poisoned. We are not doing any tests related to poisoning Bushra Bibi, he added.

The personal physician of Bushra Bibi said that her condition worsened two months ago after having meal. She had difficulty in eating, swallowing and digestion food. Bushra Bibi was worried that there were chillies in the food.

According to Dr. Asim, no such problem has been confirmed for Bushra Bibi at this time.

He said that Bushra Bibi’s condition is still not better, now she is eating less.

Dr. Asim Yusuf said that tests should be performed as per her age. Gastrointestinal examination should be done for proper confirmation of her health problems, he suggested.

On the other hand, talking to the media outside the Islamabad High Court, Dr. Asim Yusuf said that PTI founder’s health is better now. The founder had difficulty in eating and drinking due to ill health some time ago. He also lost appetite some time ago, the physician added.

Dr. Asim Yusuf said that now PTI founder’s health is better but he does not feel appetite as usual.
