The Chinses Embassy in Islamabad says this in a statement.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi went to the Chinese Embassy and briefed the Chinese ambassador and an investigative team from China about the progress in the investigation of the Shangla attack.

Naqvi also informed the Chinese authorities about the security of the Chinese residents and the overall law and order situation of the country.

Now, in a statement released by the Chinese Embassy, it has been said that any attempt to sabotage Pakistan-China cooperation will never succeed.

The Chinese Embassy says that it will continue to support Pakistan’s social and economic development efforts.

The statement from the embassy of the friendly country said that it is committed to working with Pakistan and bringing more benefits to the people of both countries.

Meanwhile, after Dasu and Tarbela dams, Chinese companies have suspended the civil work on Diamer Bhasha Dam, however, Chinese residents are still working on Mohmand Dam in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

About 500 Chinese nationals are engaged in the construction of the dam at Diamer Bhasha Dam while the local staff have been instructed to stay at home until further orders.

On Tuesday, a bus loaded with explosives collided with an explosives-laden bus on the Karakoram highway in Bisham, killing 5 Chinese engineers working on the Dasu Dam.

An official working on the project confirmed that the Chinese company has stopped work on Dasu Dam and local staff have been asked to stay home.
