Ollie Pope, the stand-in England Captain, has achieved a unique feat in Test cricket’s 147-year history.

Though, he successfully tackled Sri Lanka in the ongoing three-match, but his form with the bat was a bit of concern for England.

However, he answered his critics with a run-a-ball 103 not out in the ongoing third Test. Before the game he registered scores of 6, 6, 1 and 17, which was a bit concerning for the Ben Stokes side.

Doing so, he became the first batter in the history of Test cricket to score each of his first seven centuries against different opponents.

Pope has scored centuries against South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, Ireland, India, West Indies and now Sri Lanka to achieve the unique feat.
