Pakistan gets over $60bn from remittances and exports of goods and services during the fiscal year 2020-21.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib disclosed this on Tuesday.

He said despite coronavirus pandemic, Pakistan had received over $60 billion from remittances and exports of goods and services.

In a tweet, he compared it with the $ 50 billion which Pakistan got in 2018 PML-N government.

However, then Coronavirus had not hit Pakistan and the world.

Meanwhile, Pakistan expects over $ 1 billion Chinese investment in Gwadar Free Zone phase two.

Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar Briefing shared this with media persons in Gwadar.

Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the Free Zone yesterday.

$ 1 billion Chinese investment in Gwadar Free Zone

Asad Umar further said the Chinese investors have evinced great interest for investment in this zone, 35 times bigger than the first phase.

He recalled Prime Minister Imran Khan had launched South Balochistan package worth 600 billion rupees in November.

Moreover, he said 53 projects of this package made part of the development plan this year.

Asad Umar said record development is being carried out in Balochistan province on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He said that the federal government is executing development work with the partnership of Balochistan government.
