Pakistan reach U17 Norway Cup 2024 semis

Pakistan team’s sensational performance continues as it qualified for the semi-final after defeating tournament favourites Germany.

The Men in Green secured a nail-biting 3-2 victory on Friday in the U17 Norway Cup quarterfinals thanks to brilliant brace from Mohammad Kashif.

The score was level at 2-2 as match entered in the final minute. Pakistan secured a late winner thaks to Muhammad Junaid.

The national street child football team will compete in the semi-finals tonight.

It should be remembered that the national team was the undefeated team of the event in 2023.

Earlier, In the knockout game, Pakistan players showed exceptional skill and determination in the round of 32.

They remained undefeated throughout the round and carried this momentum into the playoffs. During their run, they thrashed Norway’s Charlottenlund Club 5-0.

They opened the scoring into the first half, and added four more in the second. Kashif scored the brace, while Obaidullah, Owais, and Muhammad Isa contributed with a goal each.

In the Under-15 category, future Pakistan’s team has also made its mark by securing a place in the quarter-finals.
