Pakistan to take on arch-rival India in Women’s T20 World Cup today

Arch-rivals Pakistan and India cricket teams will compete in Dubai today in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

The Green Shirts, who defeated Asian champions Sri Lanka by 31 runs in the first match, are determined to continue their winning streak.

The match will begin at 3pm, as per Pakistan Standard Time.

Addressing a presser, Fatima Sana, the captain of Pakistan, posed faith in her team’s ability to handle the pressure in the game.

In response to query, she said there is no as such pressure. However, as there will be big crowd and tense atmosphere so it might build some pressure on the girls but we will try to do our job by remaining composed.

Before the match, the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa, was painted in the colours of the teams of Pakistan and India.

It should be noted that India was defeated by New Zealand in their first match of the ICC T20 World Cup.
