Pakistan starts mandatory training for Hajj 2026 pilgrims
ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the first phase of mandatory training for Hajj 2026 pilgrims will begin from January 1 in Islamabad.
According to the ministry’s spokesperson, pilgrims will receive full details of their training schedule through the “Pak Hajj 2026” mobile app and SMS. The schedule will also be available on the official website of the Ministry of Religious Affairs so that pilgrims can easily check their training dates and locations.
During the first week, training sessions will be held in different cities across the country. Training will take place in Abbottabad on January 2, Ghotki, Thatta, and Kotli (Azad Kashmir) on January 3, and Mirpur (Azad Kashmir), Tando Muhammad Khan, and Khairpur on January 4.
On January 5, training will be provided in Rawalakot, Badin, and Nowshera Feroze. Sessions will continue on January 6 in Fateh Jang areas, Dadu, and Tharparkar (Mithi). On January 7, training will be held in Umerkot, Larkana, and Haripur, followed by sessions in Mirpur Khas, Shahdadkot, and Mansehra on January 8.
The ministry said that one-day training programs will continue in phases at the tehsil level across the country until February, ensuring that all pilgrims complete the required training.
Pilgrims have been advised to bring their original CNIC and computerized Hajj application receipt and attend the training according to their given schedule.
The ministry also shared good news for private Hajj pilgrims, saying that no eligible pilgrim will be deprived of performing Hajj. Strict rules have also been set for private Hajj tour operators to improve training quality and Hajj arrangements. These steps are being taken to help pilgrims perform their religious duties properly and smoothly.
