Tourist Van Catches Fire Near Murree Expressway — 6 Killed, Over 10 Injured in Deadly Accident

At least six people were killed and more than ten others sustained injuries after a passenger van carrying tourists caught fire near the Murree Expressway following a collision with a roadside safety barrier, according to a Motorway Police spokesperson.

The vehicle lost control before slamming into the protective wall, after which fire broke out and quickly engulfed the van. Motorway Police warned that the death toll could rise further, with fears that additional fatalities may be confirmed as rescue operations continue. Motorway Police personnel and local administration officials rushed to the scene, with relief and rescue operations launched immediately.
