Security Forces Kill 43 Terrorists in Balochistan During Operation Shabaan
Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC), and Balochistan Police are continuing Operation Shabaan following the terrorist attack on the Mangy Dam Police Station, according to security sources.
Security sources said that 26 terrorists were killed during the first phase of the operation on July 6 and 7. The operation is focused on rugged mountainous areas, where security forces have tightened the cordon around terrorist hideouts. Ground troops, helicopters, and heavy weapons are being used to target the militants.
Over the past 24 hours, security forces killed 13 more terrorists, bringing the total number of militants killed in Operation Shabaan to 39.
Separately, security sources said a terrorist attack on a police station in the Zidi area of Khuzdar was successfully repelled on Friday morning. Army and FC troops responded quickly, killing eight terrorists. Security sources also reported that another five to six terrorists were killed during helicopter operations.
In the latest update, security sources said four more terrorists were killed and several others were injured during the ongoing operation. This raised the total number of terrorists killed in Operation Shabaan to 43.
According to security sources, since July 5, a total of 79 terrorists have been killed in Operation Shabaan and other intelligence-based operations.
