8 Fitna al-Khwarij Terrorists Killed in North Waziristan Intelligence-Based Operation

Security forces have continued operations against terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khwarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing eight terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan, according to security sources.

The operation was carried out on the basis of intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area, the sources said.

Security forces effectively targeted the terrorists’ hideouts, completely destroying their positions during the operation, according to the sources.

A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and other equipment was also recovered from the possession of the killed terrorists.

Security sources said the terrorists made an attempt to use a mosque as a shield to evade security forces during the operation.

Keeping the sanctity of the mosque in consideration, security forces conducted the operation with exceptional care and precision and successfully neutralised the terrorists, the sources said.

The operation highlights the security forces’ continued efforts to prevent terrorist elements from exploiting religious sites for protection.

Security forces remain committed to eliminating terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khwarij from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and ensuring the security of the region.
