Residents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took to the streets to protest against inflation, unemployment, load shedding and the deteriorating law and order situation.
In Malakand’s Dargai tehsil, the Muttahida Trade Union and Pakistan Peoples Party held a strong protest against rising inflation, unemployment and load shedding.
Thousands of people participated in the protest rally, including Muttahida Trade Union President Asfandyar Khan and General Secretary Ghulam Hussain.
The protesters burned tyres and chanted slogans against the PTI-led provincial government over inflation, unemployment, load shedding and the poor law and order situation.
The protesters demanded that the provincial government take practical and concrete steps to restore peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
They said that law and order, inflation and unemployment have become serious issues in the province, while the provincial government remains focused on protest politics.
