The grand wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani, son of Asia’s richest person Mukesh Ambani, have finally come to an end, but the buzz around the extravagant event continues to make headlines.

Among the many highlights of the wedding, one aspect that caught the attention of Pakistanis was the prominence of Pakistani designers’ outfits worn by Indian celebrities.

Despite no significant Pakistani personality attending the wedding, the country’s fashion designers made their mark on the international stage.

The months-long wedding festivities, attended by A-listers from Hollywood, Bollywood, sports personalities, and business tycoons, saw a showcase of opulence and glamour. Celebrities like Sara Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, AP Dhillon, and Hardik Pandya flaunted outfits designed by Pakistani designers Iqbal Hussain, Faraz Manan, and Mohsin Naveed Ranjha.

Alia Bhatt stunned in a black dress designed by Faraz Manan for the Sangeet ceremony, which received widespread appreciation on social media.

Sara Ali Khan wore an olive-green dress by Iqbal Hussain for the ‘Shubh Vivah’ ceremony and later donned a long frock and golden lehenga by the same designer for the ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ event. However, her Twitter account faced criticism for not crediting the Pakistani designer for the outfits.

Hardik Pandya opted for a light pink dress designed by Faraz Manan, while AP Dhillon also wore an outfit by the same designer.

The wedding celebrations, which began months ago, culminated on Saturday with Anant Ambani and his wife Radhika Merchant tying the knot in Mumbai. The weekend’s festivities concluded with a reception party on Sunday.
