Pakistan’s Sirbaz Khan makes history to scale all 14 world highest mountains

Pakistani mountaineer Sirbaz Khan has entered his name in the country’s mountaineering history by becoming the first Pakistani to climb all 14 peaks above 8,000 meters.

Sirbaz Khan achieved the feat with his successful ascent of the 8,027-meter Shishapangma peak, his 14th eight-thousander.

His journey began with the summit of Nanga Parbat in 2017. He then went on to conquer some of the world’s most challenging peaks, including K-2, Lhotse, and Everest.

Notably, the accomplished mountaineer climbed 11 of these peaks without artificial oxygen, demonstrating his exceptional skill and endurance.

His impressive record includes:

• Nanga Parbat (8,126m) on October 2, 2017

• K2 (8,611m) on July 22, 2018

• Lhotse (8,516m) on May 14, 2019

• Broad Peak (8,051m) on July 11, 2019

• Manaslu (8,163m) on September 25, 2019

• Annapurna (8,091m) on April 16, 2021

• Mount Everest (8,849m) on May 12, 2021

• Gasherbrum II (8,035m) on July 18, 2021

• Dhaulagiri (8,167m) on October 1, 2021

• Kangchenjunga (8,586m) on May 7, 2022

• Makalu (8,481m) on May 28, 2022

• Gasherbrum I (8,080m) on August 12, 2022

• Cho Oyu (8,188m) on October 2, 2023

• Shishapangma (8,027m) on October 4, 2024
