Paris Olympics: Malala Yousafzai meets Pakistani athletes

Pakistani Nobel peace prize winner Malala Yousafzai met with Pakistani Olympians participating in the Paris Olympics 2024.

In a post on social media, the youngest Nobel laureate expressed her support for the athletes with the caption “So proud of Team Pakistan @olympics.”

Her husband Asser Malik can also be seen in the image at the Olympic.

Earlier on July 26, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) invited Malala to meet the athletes and also act as a guest of honour in one of the award-giving ceremonies during the Paris Olympics on Friday.

Meanwhile, Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah and his family attended the Commonwealth Nations Ministerial Conference in France on Thursday where the matters of mutual sports interests were also discussed.

It must be noted Pakistan have fielded seven athletes in the global event and they are accompanied by 11 officials.
