PMD forecasts light rain in Karachi at this time

The weather in Karachi is likely to remain hot and humid during the next 24 hours.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of further increase in temperature in the city during the next 2 to 3 days, but there is no fear of heat wave and during this time and the temperature can reach 37 to 38 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department said that drizzle or light rain is expected in Karachi this evening or night, while another spell of monsoon will affect Sindh including Karachi on 18th or 19th.

The minimum temperature of the city was recorded at 30.5 degrees Celsius today, while the maximum temperature is expected to be between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius, the Meteorological Department said.

It further said the humidity in the air is 70 per cent and the sea breeze is blowing at a speed of 18 kilometers per hour.
