Protection of Chinese brothers first priority: Naqvi

Interior Minister Senator Mohsin Naqvi has said that the protection of Chinese brothers is the first priority of the government of Pakistan.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Ambassador Jiang Zaidong at the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad in which he briefed on the security plan for Chinese engineers and staff working on CPEC and other projects. The Chinese ambassador also expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements.

Naqvi said that comprehensive and effective SOPs have been made for the security of Chinese citizens and a separate force SPU is being formed in the capital for foreign citizens.

The federal minister said that the protection of the Chinese brothers who are working for the construction and development of Pakistan is the first priority of the government of Pakistan.

The interior minister further said that no one can create any rift in the Pakistan-China friendship, vowing to foil any conspiracy in this connection.
