LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has stopped the hospitality (special) box and giving free tickets.

According to sources, PCB has issued orders to sell VIP box tickets and has also stopped the management from giving free tickets for all matches of Pakistan Super League Season 9.

PCB has saved RS250 millions in terms of security and administrative matters in this season. During the last season, there was a dispute between the Punjab government and PCB in this regard.

Meanwhile, rookie pacer Ubaid Shah is gearing up for his HBL Pakistan Super League debut as he reveals his goal during his maiden season.

Shah, who is part of Islamabad United along with his elder brothers Naseem Shah and Hunain Shah, has joined the camp after impressive outing in the recently concluded ICC U19 World Cup.

“I enjoyed bowling with Naseem today where he told me about bowling in T20 as per the conditions,” he told reports after the session.

“It has benefited me and I will try to perform well for United as much as possible,” he added.

Commenting on his HBL PSL goal, he said would like to dismiss top batters during the tournament.

“The batting quality in HBL PSL is great and I will strive to dismiss top batters, including Babar Azam,” he added.
