Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Omar Ayub has express optimism in finding a breakthrough in the release of PTI leader Imran Khan, when talks between the party and political parties commence.

The senior PTI leader while speaking to SAMAA expressed his eagerness in the commencement of the talks with other political powers.

Omar said that he awaits the day when Imran Khan will come to the Assembly, not only to lead the opposition but also to occupy the Prime Minister’s chair.

He said their priority will be to secure Imran Khan’s release first, followed by other political detainees.

Moreover, Omar also condemned the recent arrest and re-arrest of PTI leader Amjad Khan and criticized the police for preventing him and other party worker from entering the anti-terrorism court in Sargodha.

Omar alleged that the court was being held “hostage” and that the bail cancellation was unjustified.
