‘PTI tried to make Aseefa’s win controversial’

Pakistan People’s Party leader Saeed Ghani has said that they have not kidnapped any candidate and all the allegations in this regard are baseless.

While talking to the media in Karachi today, Saeed Ghani said that the Pakistan People’s Party has always been successful on the Nawabshah seat with a large lead. In 2018, the PPP had won with a large lead from this seat, he added.

The Sindh local government minister said that Asif Ali Zardari had a lead of 50,000 votes on the seat of Nawabshah. PTI made the victory of Aseefa Bhutto controversial. There is no position of any candidate against Aseefa Bhutto as if she contested the election, maybe she gets more votes than Zardari.

Saeed Ghani said that PTI’s propaganda cell tries to make everything controversial. 11 candidates filed papers against Aseefa Bhutto, he added.

The PPP leader further said that the nomination papers of Sher Mohammad Rand and his son were rejected.

He said that PTI will not gain anything from this. Whenever, the PPP wins the election, the opponents protest.

The PPP leader said that GDA and JUI-F lost in Sindh. JUI-F candidates should come with Form 45 if they had won elections.

On the occasion, Sindh Interior Minister Zia Lanjar said that he will prove by establishing law and order in Sindh. There is street crime in Karachi and law and order problem in Katcha area. He added that Multan-Sukkur Motorway is not closed.

He said that operations are underway in Kashmore area.

Zia Lanjar said that the policemen have sacrificed for the establishment of peace. Morale of police will be raised so that they can fight in Katcha area, he added.
