PTI’s letter to IMF another enmity with Pakistan: Shehbaz

29 February, 2024 11:58

PML-N President and prime ministerial candidate Shehbaz Sharif has termed PTI founder Imran Khan’s letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as another act of enmity with Pakistan after the cipher.

Yesterday, PTI had written a letter to the IMF demanding that the Fund should ensure an audit of 30 percent of the seats of the national and provincial assemblies within two weeks, before it provides financial assistance to Pakistan. Conditions related to good governance should be kept in view before the IMF gives financial facility to Pakistan, the letter added.

Shehbaz Sharif said in his statement that the PTI founder has asked the IMF not to do a new program with Pakistan.

He said that PTI’s letter is another proof of enmity with Pakistan after cipher. No one should have any doubt that they want Pakistan to be completely destroyed, Shehbaz added.

He further said: “I think the letter of PTI founder to the IMF is a very sad move, which is highly condemnable.”

The PML-N president said that no Pakistani, despite having political differences, can curse Pakistan.
