Ravindra Jadeja joins Modi’s BJP

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has stepped into politics as he joined ruling Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

His wife, Rivaba Jadeja, who is also a BJP MLA, announced the development on her X [Twitter] as she posted pictures of him as a new member.

Later, Jadeja too shared the photos on social media with their BJP membership card.

It is worth noting here that Ravindra Jadeja’s wife had joined the party in 2019 and was elected MLA from the Jamnagar assembly seat in the 2022 election.

In June, Jadeja became the third senior cricketer after star batter Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to retire from T20ls at the end of T20 World Cup 2024.
