Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik arrives in Islamabad

Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik has arrived in Pakistan today. He will stay in the country till October 28.

Upon arrival at New Islamabad Airport, Prime Minister Youth Program Chairman Rana Mashhood, Additional Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs Syed Dr. Attaur Rehman and Parliamentary Secretary Religious Affairs Shamshir Ali Mazari and others welcomed him.

According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Dr. Zakir Naik will address public gatherings in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore, while he will also address and lead Friday prayers.

During his stay in Pakistan, he will also meet with high government officials while Dr. Zakir Naik will also participate in public events.

Rana Mashhood said that he pays tribute to Dr. Zakir Naik’s academic services. Dr. Zakir Naik’s Islamic insight promotes trust and confidence, he added.

Dr. Zakir Naik was provided tight security upon arrival in Islamabad.
