Apple is gearing up to unveil a revamped AI-powered Siri with the upcoming iOS 18.3 update, expected to launch in early 2025, shortly after the release of the iPhone 16 series.

Following the debut of the new iPhone lineup, Apple is anticipated to roll out iOS 18.1 in October this year. This initial update will introduce a range of features, including a minor refresh of Siri, new Writing Tools, Photos Clean Up, and Notification Summaries.

iOS 18.2 is expected to follow with enhancements like Image Playground, Genmoji, and integration of ChatGPT technology.

However, iPhone users will need to wait until January 2025 to experience the full capabilities of the AI-powered Siri with the iOS 18.3 update.

Announced during the Worldwide Developers’ Conference 2024 in June, Apple had not initially specified a timeline for the new version of Siri. Recent reports suggest that the company plans to incorporate advanced AI features into iOS 18.3.

With this update, Siri is set to feature a glowing light around the screen edges upon activation, alongside improved functionality. Notably, Apple has partnered with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT technology into Siri, significantly enhancing its AI capabilities.
