Shatrughan Sinha opens up why his friendship soured with Amitabh Bachchan

Senior Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha has revealed that Amitabh Bachchan did not want him in the film ‘Kaala Patthar’.

According to Indian media, Shatrughan Sinha and Amitabh Bachchan have been very good friends of their times, but with time, their friendship became weaker.

Shatrughan in one of his interviews regarding his friendship with Amitabh Bachchan said that legendary actor was older than him but was his junior in films. I had worked hard for work in films while Amitabh had just started struggling, he recalled.

Shatrughan hinted in his interview that Amitabh didn’t want to let him act in some films and one of those films is Kaala Pathar. I acted in that film despite his wish, he continued.

The actor said: “It was unfortunate that even though we were such good friends, we hardly spoke during the production of this film. I got a lot of praise in the film Kaala Patthar and the same happened with the film Dostana.”

Shatrughan further said: “I think Kaala Patthar was the final nail in the coffin of our friendship as Amitabh decided he would no longer work with him.
