SIC nominates Sheikh Waqas Akram as PAC chief

The Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC ) has nominated Sheikh Waqas Akram as chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

In this connection, SIC Chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza has written a letter to National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

“I nominate Sheikh Waqas Akram as the chairman of Public Accounts Committee,” The SIC chief said in the letter.

Earlier, PTI’s political committee had nominated Sheikh Waqas Akram for the chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee of the National Assembly, replacing Sher Afzal Marwat.
