Six more Adiala staffers detained for facilitating Imran Khan

Six more employees of Adiala Jail have been taken into custody in connection with the facilitation of former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

According to sources, the detained staff of Adiala Jail include women, sweepers, lady wardens and three people monitoring CCTV cameras, who are being interrogated.

Mobile phones of detained Adiala jail staff have also been seized, sources said.

Sources said that the women staff was to communicate between Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in Adiala Jail.

The detentions were made based on investigations conducted with Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram, Assistant Superintendent Bilal, and Nazim Shah.

It is worth noting that since August 14, a total of 13 individuals, including a Deputy Superintendent, two Assistant Superintendents, and other staff members, have been detained for allegedly facilitating the former PM.

Meanwhile, the list of individuals allowed to visit the former Prime Minister at Adiala Jail has been restricted.
