Babar Azam is currently facing lean patch with the bat after captaincy woes, and now he has a new challenge from social media.

Netizen could be unforgiving some time and this is a similar case with Babar Azam currently.

The prolific runs getter is currently struggling with the bat especially in the Test cricket, where he hasn’t scored a half-century in last 18 innings.

After another disappointing innings in the ongoing second Test, Babar is being trolled on social media, with some of them even suggesting him to retire.

The first post appeared on Monday afternoon, where a fan account posted a fake retirement of the former captain.

In a similar fashion, another account posted a fake statement where Babar was mimicked to be addressing the fans.

It is worth mentioning here that, Babar’s batting performance in both ODIs and Tests has hit unprecedented lows, scoring just 190 runs in 10 Test innings at an average of 19, and his ODI average has plummeted to 34.

While his T20I average during this period was 38, it wasn’t enough to deliver good results for Pakistan, who were knocked out of the T20 World Cup in the group stages after a shock loss to the USA.
