Student thrashes professor at prestigious university

A female student at Government College (GC) University has thrashed a male professor.

Reports claimed that the student roughed up the professor over alleged harassment.

A video of the incident is circulating on the social media. The clip was recorded by one of students present on the occasion.

The video showed the female student throwing files and pulling hairs of the assistant professor. The assistant professor tried to defend himself against the assault.

A GCU spokesperson, meanwhile, said that the vice chancellor had taken notice of the sad incident. The vice chancellor had constituted a committee to investigate the matter, he added.

The Government College University said that the body will determine the perpetrators of the incident. Later, an action will be taken against the elements responsible for the sad incident, the spokesperson said.
