Surprising growth witnessed in number of Chat GPT users

ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence (AI) powered chatbot that was developed by OpenAI and released in November 2022.

In the beginning, the number of people using it was less, but with the passage of time, after realizing its importance and usefulness, its users gradually increased.

In this regard, a report by OpenAI states that the number of weekly users of ‘ChatGPT’ has reached 200 million.

Artificial intelligence (AI) startup OpenAI has said its chatbot ‘ChatGPT’ now has more than 200 million weekly active users, double the number from last fall.

ChatGPT, launched in 2022, can generate human-like responses based on user input. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in November that it had 100 million weekly active users.

OpenAI said 92 per cent of Fortune 500 companies use its products and use its automated application programming interfaces, or “APIs,” that allow software programs to talk to each other.

It should be remembered that according to the company, in April of this year, more than 10 million people from all over the world used Chat GPT every week.

The number of users has grown exponentially since OpenAI announced that it would no longer require an account to use ChatGPT.
