03 September, 2024 15:58

A symposium titled “Kashmir Struggles Under Siege” was held in Muzaffarabad under the auspices of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir Chapter.
Speaking at the symposium, All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Azad Kashmir Chapter, Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi has said that the real greatness in the world belongs to Allah and should not be afraid of America and India.

He was of the view that the Kashmir issue has different aspects. One aspect of Kashmir’s freedom struggle is the violation of human rights by the Indian Army and the other is to make the efforts of those struggling for freedom effective.

He added that Kashmiris are being punished for raising their voice against Indian war crimes and for independence. The conveyor said they want to make it clear to the world that the only solution to the Kashmir issue lies in the resolutions of the Security Council. No option other than referendum is accepted. We are grateful to Pakistan for their support, he added.

The purpose of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference is to highlight the voice of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir across the world and to expose Indian atrocities, worst state terrorism and to raise voice for the basic rights of Kashmiris.

Former federal minister, senior parliamentarian and PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that Pakistan and Kashmiris have a historical relationship and Islamabad stands by the Kashmiris. Kashmiris will not be left alone. We have to understand our weaknesses and estimate the strength of the enemy, he added.

He further said that the knowledge has value in the world. Youth should be attracted towards education. If we gain expertise in the field of knowledge, then the world will listen to us.
