Tabu opens up on refusing films with Shah Rukh Khan

Bollywood veteran actress Tabu recently revealed that she had turned down several film offers alongside superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

In a recent interview with Indian media, veteran Bollywood actress Tabu shared insights into her decision-making process when it comes to selecting film projects.

The 52-year-old actress revealed that she has turned down numerous offers, including several alongside superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Tabu explained that she only accepts projects that resonate with her, and if a script doesn’t align with her vision, she doesn’t hesitate to decline.

“I was offered many films with Shah Rukh Khan, but I declined. I believe Shah Rukh also turns down many projects,” she said.

Reflecting on her past collaborations with Shah Rukh Khan, Tabu noted that she never aimed to compete or overshadow her co-stars, instead focusing on delivering her best performance.

When asked about retirement, Tabu asserted that she has no plans to hang up her boots anytime soon.

“I urge writers and filmmakers to craft roles that suit me,” she added, expressing her desire to continue working on meaningful projects.
