Islamabad (GTV News) ;Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said on Wednesday that there has been a significant increase in terrorist attacks since Afghanistan’s interim government was formed in Kabul.

The caretaker prime minister told mediapersons in Islamabad that there has been a noticeable increase in terrorist incidents following recent statements by Afghan leaders.
He pointed out that Pakistan-Afghanistan relations are based on common religion, history, culture and brotherhood, adding that Pakistan has been hosting Afghan refugees for 40 years.
“Over the past two years, terrorist activities from mainland Afghanistan have increased,” the caretaker prime minister said, adding that over 2,000 Pakistanis have been martyred due to cross-border terrorism in the past two years.
“Pakistan provided information about terrorist activities to the Afghan government. “The Afghan government has not taken any concrete steps against anti-Pakistan terrorists,” he said.
The caretaker prime minister said Afghan nationals who returned voluntarily would be sent back with respect.
“The Pakistani government has decided to take matters into its own hands as it did not receive a positive response from the Afghan government. Border authorities are providing assistance to Afghan refugees at all border crossings. Confirmed “There are 1.4 million documented Afghan refugees living in Pakistan,” he said. The Prime Minister said that Pakistan will continue trade through Afghanistan for the benefit of the Afghan people.
“Sixty-four terrorists from mainland Afghanistan were killed in battles with Pakistani security forces,” he said, adding that no country was putting pressure on Pakistan.
Regarding the Israeli invasion, the interim prime minister said that countless people had been martyred in Gaza.
“There are serious concerns about the situation in Gaza. A special meeting on the situation in the Gaza Strip is being held in Saudi Arabia. “The talks will emphasize an immediate ceasefire and the provision of aid to Gaza.”
“Women and children are being martyred. Hospitals are being bombed. The ongoing barbarism in Gaza must be stopped immediately,” he stressed.
