‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’s release stopped in India today for this reason

The release of Pakistani superstars Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan’s blockbuster film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ has been stopped in India.

According to the Indian media, the Pakistani film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ was to be released in the theaters of the Indian state of Punjab today (Wednesday), but the Hindu extremist party stopped the release of the film.

In this regard, the distributor of the film, Nadeem Mandiwala, while talking to the Indian media, said that an application has been filed in the Indian court against the release of ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’, due to which the release of the movie has been stopped in the country.

Mandiwala further said that unfortunately the release of the movie has been stalled again and till the court gives its decision, nothing can be done.

He added that whenever the film is released in India, it will be a big success for the Pakistani film industry.

It may be recalled that after the Uri attack in 2016, Pakistani artists were banned from working in the Indian film industry.

Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan have made their debuts in Bollywood before that. Fawad Khan performed in ‘Khoobsurat’ (2014) and Mahira Khan in ‘Raees’ (2017).
