Traffic police eye Rs300m target under Eid ops

The Karachi Traffic Police have decided to launch the Eid operation, under which they will collect Rs10 million daily for issuing 10,000 challans.

In a wireless message of DIG’s operator, the orders have been passed on traffic police to issue Rs10,000 challans daily under the Eid operation. Against these challans, Rs10 million will be collected daily from citizens.

On a daily basis, 90 SOs are present on the roads of Karachi and each of them will issue 25 mandatory challans to citizens daily.

Traffic police’s Eid operation has sent a wave of panic among the citizens.

The people of Karachi have demanded of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Governor Kamran Tessori and others to take notice of the traffic police’s Eid operation.
