UNGA: Shehbaz congrats Erdogan on his heart-touching speech on Palestine issue

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and discussed various issues.

The prime minister said that the Turkish president’s speech on Palestine at the United Nations was touching. The way President Erdogan described the Palestine problem touched the hearts of everyone present in the hall. I congratulate the Turkish president, he added.

He further said that all aspects of brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey were discussed in the meeting. President Erdogan said that he will visit Pakistan soon.

Shehbaz said that there is a meeting of the IMF board today and we have fulfilled all their conditions that were very strict.

He said that some of the conditions of the IMF were related to China and as usual Beijing held our hands and cooperated like in the past.

He further said that he is grateful to the Chinese, Saudi Arabia and the UAE leadership as without their support this would not have been possible.

The prime minister said that the government and institutions have accepted the economic challenges through collective efforts, and the economic indicators are gradually improving with hard work day and night.
