07 March, 2024 07:44

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, has demanded in the Security Council meeting that pressure should be put on the Afghan government to stop the outlawed TTP from carrying out attacks in Pakistan.

In the meeting on Afghanistan, Pakistan’s permanent representative demanded that the Afghan interim government should end its relationship with the outlawed TTP.

While making important demands from the United Nations Security Council, Munir Akram said that the financial sources of the outlawed TTP in Afghanistan should be identified.

He also made a demand how the outlawed TTP has obtained modern military equipment should be investigated.
