VIDEO: No man power required at fillings stations now
AI-powered robots have been installed at filling stations in Abu Dhabi to refuel vehicles.
According to foreign media, the UAE’s Abu Dhabi National Oil Company has launched a pilot project in which a robotic fueling arm has been introduced that will now replace humans at the filling station and refuel vehicles.
The technology, which was demonstrated at ADNOC’s Ulrim Island petrol station, will be used to help existing staff increase productivity and reduce waiting times, according to the report.

The robotic arm uses computer vision technology and is designed to be fast and environmentally friendly.
This robotic arm is capable of automated vehicle refueling, which uses sensors and cameras to move towards the vehicle, open the fuel tank cap and adjust the direction of the nozzle to fill the car.
