Video: PTI activist Neeli Pari attacks PML-N’s Tahir Anjum in Lahore

A violent quarrel occurred outside the Punjab Assembly in Lahore, wherein PTI leader Aneela alias Neeli Pari assaulted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) cultural wing leader and comedian Tahir Anjum.

The incident took place during a symbolic hunger strike staged by PTI against the incarceration of party founder Imran Khan.

In the footage available, Neeli Pari intercepted Anjum’s vehicle and physically attacked him, slapping him in the presence of onlookers.

Anjum, who was later rescued by party workers, claimed that his clothes were torn during the assault. He identified himself as an artist and a leader of the PML-N cultural wing.

Justifying her actions, Neeli Pari alleged that Anjum was creating videos against Imran Khan at the behest of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

This incident follows a series of events, including the recent arrest of PTI’s information secretary, Raoof Hasan, and a raid on the party’s Central Office over suspected “anti-state digital campaigns.”
