Indian singer-composer Vishal Dadlani has offered to help the constable who slapped Bollywood actor-turned politician Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport.

Taking to Instagram, Vishal shared a note and extended his support to the CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur.

He wrote: “I do not ever support violence, but I absolutely understand the need of this @official_cisf personnel’s anger. If any action is taken against her by the CISF, I will ensure that she has a job waiting for her should she choose to accept it. Jai Hind. Jai Jawaan. Jai Kisaan (sic).”

CISF Constable Kulwinder Kaur was detained after the incident. Reports said she was later suspended after Kangana Ranaut filed a complaint with CISF officials on her arrival at the Indira Gandhi airport.

Earlier, Bollywood actress and recently elected Lok Sabha member Kangana Ranaut was slapped by security personnel at the airport.

According to Indian media reports, the newly-elected member of Indian parliament and actress Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a female constable of the Central Industrial Security Force at Chandigarh Airport for allegedly disrespecting farmers.

The reports added that Kangana Ranaut was about to board a flight to New Delhi when the incident took place.

It should be noted that Kangana Ranaut stood in the election from her native Mandi in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Kangana won by defeating Congress member Vikramaditya Singh.
