Waheed Murad’s son reveals reason for not making his father’s biopic

Adil Murad, the son of legendary actor Waheed Murad, known as the chocolate hero, revealed the reason for not making a biopic of his father.

In a recent interview, Adil Murad talked about the life of his father Waheed Murad and mentioned the memories associated with him.

The host asked Adil Murad why he does not want to make a biopic of his father. On this, Adil said that someone has to portray his character on screen, will we be able to accept anyone as Waheed Murad on screen? Or will he be able to portray himself on screen as Waheed Murad?

He said that Waheed Murad had his own specialty, style, expressions, eye movements, acting skills and personality. His unique style made him a famous Pakistani actor, you could copy him but you can’t justify the role. I have discussed this many times with people talking about Waheed Murad biopic but my question is where will we get another Waheed Murad or Zeba? It is impossible, he added.

Murad further said that for him and his family, the name and fame of Waheed Murad is much more important than the money earned through the biopic.

It should be noted that legendary actor Waheed Murad was an actor, director and script writer who entered the showbiz industry in 1961. Murad’s famous films include Armaan, Heera Aur Pathar, Durar, Anjuman, Dewar Bhabhi, Mastana Mahi and Andalib.
