Watch: Mathira has advice for Khalilur Rehman Qamar

Renowned host and model Mathira has shared her thoughts on the recent abduction and assault of prominent dramatist Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.

In a recent interview, Mathira condemned the incident, stating that it was “entirely wrong” and should not have occurred.

While acknowledging that she lacks complete details of the incident, Mathira mentioned that she had heard Qamar was kidnapped and assaulted after meeting a woman late at night. She emphasized that meeting someone at such a late hour was inappropriate and unsafe.

Mathira also discussed her own safety protocols, stating that she would never attend a meeting late at night, even if it was for a project. Mathira added that she prioritizes her safety and would not leave her house at night, even for her father.

Without directly naming Qamar, Mathira commented on the incident, saying that meeting someone at 4 am is inappropriate and should not happen.

Her statements come after Qamar was allegedly kidnapped and assaulted in Lahore after meeting a woman to discuss a drama project.

The police have since registered a case and arrested the main accused, Amna Urooj, along with others involved in the kidnapping.
