Watch: Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis join viral ‘Bado Badi’ trend

Former Pakistan fast bowlers Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis have joined the viral ‘Bado Badi’ trend by creating a TikTok video set to Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s rendition of the song.

The video, shared by popular host Fakhar-e-Alam, who also participated, has quickly gained popularity.

Fakhar-e-Alam captioned the video: “The glorious MID LIFE CRISIS of the three of us… to some it is a moment of madness, to some a meltdown, to some an overpaid endorsement and to some just unbearable…. but for us, it’s just 3 good friends who enjoy simple things in life like a good cup of tea, each other’s company, and extremely tasteful music.”

In the video, the trio is seen lip-syncing to the lyrics of “Akh Ladi Bado Badi” while enjoying tea together. The video has been widely appreciated by fans, who have called it the best entry in the viral trend.

The song, originally performed by the legendary Madam Noor Jahan for the 1973 film Banarsi Thug, was composed by Bakhshi Wazeer Sahib. It is pertinent to mention here that Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s recreation of the song was later removed from YouTube due to copyright issues.
