What will be new petrol price in Pakistan from tomorrow?

ISLAMABAD: The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government is set to make another substantial surge in petroleum product prices from July 16.

The inflation hit consumers may face an additional blow due to the impending increase in petrol prices for the latter half of July 2024.

The per liter price of petrol is expected to go up by approximately Rs7.67, while Rs3.72 per liter increase in diesel price is on cards from July 16.

The current prices of petrol and diesel are Rs265.61 per liter and Rs277.45 per liter respectively.

The price increase will be effective for the next 15 days, starting from July 16.

After implementation, the per liter price of petrol will become Rs273.29 and the price of diesel will become Rs281.17 per liter.

The government had previously increased the price of petrol by Rs7.45 per liter from July 1 to July 15.

Recently, the PML-N-led federal government notified a phenomenal increase in power tariff for all consumers including K-Electric.

The Power Division on Sunday issued the notification for the increase in the basic electricity tariff, raising the basic tariff for domestic consumers by up to Rs7.12 per unit.
