WhatsApp set to introduce Instagram-like new feature

WhatsApp, the world’s largest instant messaging app, continues to introduce new features for the convenience of its users, and now the app has started testing the best features of Instagram.

According to a technology report, WhatsApp is working on a new feature similar to Instagram that will allow users to re-share status updates where they have been tagged.

The new feature is called Reshare Status Update which will make it easier for users to reshare statuses where they have been tagged with their context, making sharing any content wider.

The new feature under consideration is in preparation which will soon be introduced as a future update of WhatsApp but it is not clear when the new feature will be introduced.

How will the new feature work?

According to the report, once the new feature is introduced, it will include a new button within the status update interface, which will enable WhatsApp users to easily re-share status updates where they have been tagged.

With this feature, users are saved from the hassle of taking screenshots of tagged statuses or sharing privately by going to the original shared content.
