WhatsApp users can now send quick replies to video messages, here’s how

The most popular instant messaging WhatsApp has announced exciting feature for its users.

According to WABetaInfo, the instant video message capability is now becoming more useful with a “quick reply feature”.

The key feature allows users to swiftly respond to video messages, it added.

The new addition is currently in development and is available to a handful of Android testers.

As per the report, the latest feature will enable you to reply to the video message in no time. The users just need to tap on a small icon given beside the video.

Meta-owned messaging company is adding a new camera icon shortcut next to the video messages in the chat. Tapping on this icon will open the camera and allow you to record.

Earlier, users were bound to manual process to initiate a video recording.

With this latest version, WhatsApp users would be able to respond to video messages within a minute.

Currently, WhatsApp is rolling out this feature to limited beta testers to ensure that the feature works effectively.

Earlier it reported that WhatsApp, the most-used instant messaging platform, is rolling out a redesigned status update preview feature, currently available to select beta testers.

The new feature aims to provide a more streamlined and visually appealing way to view updates, addressing a long-standing issue that made it difficult to identify contacts at a glance.

According to reports, the revamped feature appears as a thumbnail on the right side of the screen for users who follow channels, maintaining an uncluttered updates tab with a horizontal layout.
